DJ Alliance InformationGeneral Information - How it all works The Theory Behind WdjAThere are many brilliant DJs out there; club DJs, party DJs, children's DJs. They all have their own expertise. Likewise, the wedding DJ has a set of skills and vast knowledge which equips him/her for dealing with wedding receptions. The WdjA was set up to recognise the wedding specialist, inform and educate brides about the importance of booking a wedding DJ specialist for their special day and promote the members of WdjA to couples looking for wedding entertainment.WdjA has a selection process which requires all members to have appropriate experience of weddings, a high level of professionalism and at least two very happy brides that have provided testimonials! As a member of WdjA, you will receive enquiries for weddings, have access to support and ideas for growth and member benefits such as discounts for DJ related services and equipment. WebsitesThere are four websites dedicated to the Wedding DJ Alliance.1. www.wdja.co.uk (this one) - The main site for WDJA members to access the member area and for new members to join up. 2. www.weddingdja.co.uk - the original site for the Wedding DJ Association 3. www.weddingdjalliance.co.uk - Both of this and the weddingdja site are aimed at bride and grooms. They contain information on planning a wedding, but most importantly, explains the importance of booking a wedding DJ specialist. It is not a listing site. The system is unique in that brides can submit their details to either site and they automatically go through to the members in that area. It is then up to the individual DJ to check their availability and make contact with the client to secure the booking. 4. www.theweddingdjassociation.co.uk - an information site on the history of WdjA which links through to the weddingdja site for client enquiries. The Team Running WdjA are Paul and
Sandy. Both are full time wedding entertainers in their own right
and have a wealth of experience in both the wedding and DJ
industries. They can be reached using the contact form on this site or the
office phone on 08456808247.![]() Supporting Paul and Sandy in the office is Amy and we currently have two area coordinators, Shuggy overseeing Scotland and the very north and Andy... who oversees the rest. Shuggy and Andy are both wedding DJs and are very happy to chat to you about WdjA. Shuggy
runs Quality Disco, based in Glasgow and can be reached on 07717 616131![]() Andy runs Goodtimes Roadshow in Staffordshire and can be reached on 07909 773323 |
